Attention Holly Tillman,
In regards to your run for 2024 City Council I would like you to answer two questions for the community of Clayton.
1. During your 4 years serving as City Council please list 8 positive contributions that you made to the City of Clayton.
2. Earlier this year I attended a City Council meeting where you told me you were a Progressive.
When I Googled Progressive I found several meanings. I would like you to tell the Community of Clayton which meaning is your belief? I’m asking this sincerely so that we might try and understand your positions.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Long time Clayton Resident
Debbie DeSousa

Holly announced at a council meeting a few months ago that she is a progressive. She is unabashedly proud of it.
ReplyDeleteThat’s why she supports multiple family and low income housing here in Clayton. That would destroy our town’s charm and character.
She also is a tax and spend politician. When did she ever say we need alternatives to increased spending. She supports every proposed tax increase. But she doesn’t have the time to study the budget.
She constantly attacks the conservative members of the council, ie., Jeff, Jim, and Kim over just about everything. She outright blamed Jeff for the problems with our last city manager. But if you check out the Suisun City page on Facebook, you’ll see Bret is staring up the same trouble in that city. Clearly, he’s the problem, but Holly keeps asking for an investigation into city operations and underhanded council interference. She doesn’t understand she the one that would be in jeopardy
What a great website! It is so nice to have a site with information specific to Clayton. Please add me to the mailing list. I'll PM you - Keith
ReplyDeleteHonestly, my hope is for Holly to NEVER OLD ANY OFFICE AGAIN! She is bad for Clayton and overall bad for California. Just another tax and spend, talking out of both sides of her mouth, stirs up trouble and sits back and watches the chaos politician. All of Clayton needs to remember at election time all the horrible things Holly has said about the supposed place she said on her website was a wonderful place to raise her girls.
ReplyDeleteShe said we are a racist “sundown” town where people are afraid to come out of their homes. On her website she claims our wonderful police are racist and profile people. Is this what our city needs?
DeleteHey Debbie, honestly, Holly hasn't contributed anything to the City of Clayton in the last four years. She's just causing problems and really needs to be voted out. Don't just take my word for it—check out a few council meetings; her behavior says it all. The way she misled the Trails and Landscaping Committee over the last couple of years is just shameful. The committee should seriously consider asking the mayor to kick her out and find someone who actually knows what they're doing.
ReplyDeleteHolly does more outside of the city than she does inside. She’s all about the school district and of course the city Council has no jurisdiction over the schools in Clayton. Maybe she should run for the school board and get off the council so they can get on with their business without her all of her interruptions and descension.
ReplyDeletePer post above, the Trails and Landscape Committee mis-led by Holly, how so? I am not keen with that town committee.
DeleteYou need to watch the last trails and landscaping meeting. That meeting was abysmal, and Holly was on Zoom listening and taking no action to correct misinformation or reel in Steve Rossi. Steve Rossi was rude and obnoxious to our interim city manager, Adam.
DeleteI absolutely love the censorship on this "website."
ReplyDeleteThe freedom and information this site provides to the community is long over due. Thanks for making it available to all.
ReplyDeleteHey Holly, It’s clear that an independent investigation and/or a Grand Jury inquiry is not needed. Please tell your friend Tamara Steiner (aka the Clayton Pioneer) our new interim city manager seems to have solved all the problems at city hall. The problem was all about the lack of proper leadership. Reina and Bret were the wrong choice. Get over it!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the local rag. Did you see they couldn't be bothered to spell Shulman’s name correctly or mention that she has been on the Planning Commission since 2022 and is now the Chair. That rag labeled her a newcomer. They also had inaccuracies about Enea and the city’s housing plan, and they even claimed there was a pack behind some of the candidates: mind you, WITHOUT DOCUMENTED PROOF. What a joke. There is nothing or no one of quality working at that rag. It's not worth the paper it's printed on. No integrity. No ethics. No truth. Just garbage
DeleteI read that article, Peggy spears is as aweful as Tamara Steiner!
DeleteThe whole thing stinks of rah-rah Tillman. Makes you want to vomit.
