Video (6) Special Event Fee Schedule - Insulting the Consultant and Jeff Wan

Preview: In this video, Holly Tillman confronts the consultant head-on about the special event fees and the rationale he provides for them. She fearlessly and rudely suggests that he and Mayor Jeff Wan may be working together in secret concerning these charges. Yet, her stance is somewhat complicated, bordering on a conflict of interest, since both she and her husband are involved with the nonprofit that will be affected by these new fees.

These are Holly's words, not ours.  Video length = 4:36 minutes.

  1. Holly’s line of questioning in the video are embarrassing. Calling the consultant and mayor a liar is unacceptable. From my experience from being on different committees, there is nothing wrong with a council member talking with a consultant one on one. Everyone needs to remember, in the end, it takes a full vote of the council to make any changes.

  2. Clayton Watch, I appreciate you sharing this video. A nonprofit organization in our area was spreading a lot of false information, leading people to think that the city was unlawfully increasing fees for downtown event street closures. However, the city attorney clarified that the council has the authority to set the fee at any amount they choose, and there was no legal breach. Thank you once again. You guys rock!

  3. Total disrespect for Mayor Wan with her accusations. I surprised anyone would want to serve on this city council with all her hostility and abuse.

  4. Another example of Tillman disrespecting a consultant and Mayor Wan. And she wants the council to be investigated. Holly should watch these videos and resign.

    1. I feel bad for the consultant who so graciously took Holly's abuse without returning anger. He's a professional.

  6. She says she's feeling the hostility and it is because she is becoming hostile, and even accusitory toward the consultant. I note that if there isn't overall agreement with her, she becomes the name caller and is gets short tempered.

  7. If I were Jeff, I would have filed a complaint against Holly. Her behavior was on display for all to see, and she made unsubstantiated claims against Jeff and the consultant
