California's Gas Tax Set to Increase

California's 51.1 cent per gallon tax is set to increase 5.6% on July 1st unless the state legislature takes action to suspend the tax by May 1st. This is the annual inflation adjustment that takes effect every year on July 1st. So far, Sacramento has taken no action to suspend the tax. Unbelievable.
