Council Member Holly,
First off, when did asking “questions” by the public get classified as “harassment or harassing?“ I am aware of a memo/email that was sent to all council members by Bret, our city manager, where he was asking for help from the council about the "wave" of questions that were coming from Clayton residents about the Olivia project. And your silly video is all you had to offer him as help?

As a member of the public, we have a right to “question” our city officials and our government. It’s our First Amendment Right, or did you forget that?
As I mentioned to you at our first coffee meeting, I am in no way involved with Save Clayton. Save Clayton has a voice of their own and a very large following. I can’t control the comments on Nextdoor, but I sure as "hell" will respond to a few of them when they are misleading and not telling the truth.
The emails I have been sending to Brett are “questions” in general. You know that, I’ve copied you on all of them. My emails are respectful and to the point. Had Brett answered all my questions when I met with him the first and second time, no emails or FOIA requests would have been necessary. In my opinion, he created the extra work and frustration for himself. It’s apparent from the FOIA documents I have reviewed, that oversight on the Olivia project was late to the game.
A reasonable person would think a new city manager would get out in front of the main issues that were about to affect the community. i.e. Olivia On Marsh Creek. In my opinion, he should have contacted the surrounding neighborhoods before construction started and informed them of the project’s schedule and any interruptions they might encounter.
Based on all the complaints he was receiving, he should have known that “project oversight” was not being done. Of course, how could it be. . . Kennedy and Associates were not hired by the City of Clayton to oversee the project until mid-September, and Jordan started his work over the Labor Day weekend, which was in total violation of the COA (Conditions of Approval).
I'm not sure what you mean by being dishonest. Everything that I have said and have written about is the truth. You’re the one who seems to want to spin every word, comment, and question that comes from the public. But wait, you’re a politician, and I'm a member of the public. Maybe that explains everything. Oh by the way, was it my left or right eye that was twitching? I’ll keep the coffee on if you ever decide you want to meet.
See you around town,
Gary Hood
