STOP HIGH DENSITY APARTMENTS IN CLAYTON

By Clayton Watch (4500 flyers distributed)

Dear Fellow Citizens: We need to elect council members that LOVE our little city and will protect it from government mandated high density apartments.

Two candidates Tuija Catalano and Peter Cloven voted to approve a 3 story, 3 building, 81 unit apartment in historic downtown - the Olivia Project on Marsh Creek. (With insufficient parking.)

Three candidates, Tuija Catalano, Peter Cloven and Holly Tillman, say they support the Olivia project. These same three candidates, Tuija Catalano, Peter Cloven and Holly Tillman, say they have "NO PROBLEM" with rezoning for 400 to 800 more 3 or 4 story apartments in Clayton.

STOP THE STATES MANDATED 400 TO 800 MORE APARTMENTS IN CLAYTON!

We need to elect candidates that will fight Sacramento (that is trying to destroy our rural ambience and take away local control) and not push their own destructive high density agenda. Catalano, Cloven, and Tillman are the wrong choice for Clayton.

Where are they going to put all these new 3 or 4 story apartments? Perhaps the next project will be in your backyard. Perhaps they can cram them in historic downtown. Or, perhaps they can go even higher.

We appreciate you for reading this article.
