Reflecting on her website from four years ago raises serious questions about the credibility of her statements and her character.
HERE’S HOLLY'S TRACK RECORD OVER THE LAST 3 1/2 YEARS
Throughout her 2020 campaign and during her tenure on the council, Holly has made numerous dubious statements that have tarnished Clayton’s reputation, raising alarm among many residents, including:
BEING DIVISIVE, POLARIZING, DISRUPTIVE
- During her 2020 campaign, Holly asserted that Clayton is a city riddled with racism.
- She claimed that residents are retreating into their homes because they feel unwelcome in the community.
- Holly labeled Clayton as a Sundown Town (if you're unfamiliar with this term, please research it).
- She accused Clayton police of engaging in profiling.
- In her first official act after taking office, Holly voted to bypass then Vice Mayor Jeff Wan for the position of Mayor, completely ignoring Council Guidelines and established precedent for over forty years.
Is this someone we want on our city council?
She appears to be quite duplicitous and often plays the victim role. Bad things happen to everyone, but a victim mentality is not something you should possess because bad things happened to you. This Country is not racist, but diverse. End of story.

ReplyDeleteIt’s obvious this lady hates Clayton and is trying to make a name for herself. Vote her out.
ReplyDeleteIn 2020 she said Clayton PD is racist and profiles. In 2024, she campaigns endlessly with pictures of her with the police and how she voted for a pay raise for the same cops she thinks are racist and profile. She tries to make it seem she is endorsed by the police, even though she is not. And the only reason she voted for the pay increase is because if she hadn't she would have thrown out of office! She will say anything to get elected based on what direction the wind is blowing. 4 years ago the defund movement, and the all cops are racist movement was all the rage. Now that it isn't she is a cop loving right winger! Just elect her she says! You can tell she will not stand for anything except whatever will get her elected.
